Bramley's resident chef Michael Newton joined Bramley Golf Club in November 2010. Michael gained his first head chef's position aged just 23 and went on to being awarded the franchise of a prestigious private members golf club in North London. After a successful 4 years he moved to France, taking the opportunity to became proprietor of a 15th Century Manoir on the Brittany coast, specialising in dishes featuring the renowned local sea food, including scallops, oysters, mussels and lobster.
On returning to Southern England he concentrated on offering his services as a personal chef and passing on his extensive knowledge through home teaching and working as a catering consultant in addition to managing event catering. Michael prides himself in only using locally sourced fresh produce for all his dishes. Home made desserts are his speciality and should not be missed!
Michael will cater for a wide range of functions, from casual finger buffet, summer BBQ and hog roast to formal fine dining 5-course feasts. If you think we should be able to do something, we most probably can!!
