(Encouraged by my wife,) Bramley Academy gave me the chance to try the game and test the Golf Club out. I had as much or as little coaching as I wanted and eased into the gradual process of becoming a member.
The cost of joining the Academy was reasonable. The professional tuition and support from member volunteers was always there when needed. The experience changed my negative preconceptions of golf clubs.
I got a handicap and joined the club as a full member. The Academy for me had been a good experience. Without too much effort and, in just over a year, I had become a competent golfer and was enjoying the game.
