A great way to learn the game

If you would like to learn to play golf, Bramley Golf Club is the ideal place.  In the last three years we have had tremendous success with our Academy.

Many Academy Members have gone from novice to holding handicaps and playing in social and competitive golf events in a very short time. 

In Nick English, we have one of the very best teaching professionals.

If you are new to golf, don’t be apprehensive, Nick will make sure you are comfortable at every step along the way.  Currently we have 46 Academy men and ladies learning the game now and who were all new to golf.  You will be in great company and will have lots of fun learning this great game.  

So why is our Academy so successful?

Firstly the quality of teaching and the range of group coaching sessions offered are first rate. 

Secondly, you’ll meet lots of other like-minded and friendly people.  Lastly, we encourage you to play the course as much as possible so you can get out and utilise what you are learning. 

Plus, our course is beautiful and once you start playing it, you’ll want to keep playing it.

The Academy Liaison Reps

We are very fortunate to have Charlotte and Diana who help with the running of the Academy. They organise fun competitions for the Academy, operate the buddy system and send out useful tips and information via Email and WhatsApp. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Diana or Charlotte directly.

Spouses / partners of members in all playing categories receive complementary social membership of Bramley Golf Club and are welcome to use the bar/restaurant at any time, as well as being able to enjoy a full calendar of social events.  

Members can make full use of the 7-bay covered practice range to the rear of the clubhouse and can buy discounted range balls from the pro shop.
