Bramley Golf Club Newsletter

It is lovely to be sat in my office on a Friday afternoon and for it to still be light so late on in the day. You can start to feel that the golf season will be with us in no time at all. Clocks change on the 31st March and we have the Masters taking place rom 11th April.

SGM - Wednesday 27th March

The Special General Meeting on Wednesday evening will start at 19:00, we would ask if members can arrive from 18:30 so that we have time to register all in attendance for a promt 19:00 start.

Men's Competitions to be paid on Gold Card

Following an email out to the Men at the club which I sent out earlier this week, I have been asked a small number of questions and therefore wanted to highlight the answers so that everyone was aware of how the new system will work with the payment of competitions from members Gold Cards.

For the original email please click here

Money will be charged on the day of the competition

You must still register in the Pro Shop on the day of the competition to confirm your entry

You can go overdrawn on your Gold Card account but players should ensure that they have enough money to pay for the competition on the day.

Mother's Day 31st March / Sunday Carvery 14th April

Mother's Day Sunday 31st March has now sold out, if you have missed out on a table but are still interested in coming along then please do let the bar know incase we have any cancellations.

The next Carvery will take place on Sunday 14th April, so please book your table behind the bar. The Mitchell Evans is taking place that day so tables will get booked up quickly.

Friday Night, Club Night (Chip In & MAD Draw) Friday 29th March

Next Friday is Club Night, we have over 70 members attending at the moment, so if you are planning to attend and haven't booked your place yet then please do so behind the bar.

Men's Dinner - 5th April 2019

The Men’s Dinner will be taking place on the 5th April 2019.

This Dinner has always been great enjoyment for all and should be especially good this year with Guest Speaker Alfie Moore who is well known on the speaker circuit and has some great reviews for his comedic delivery.

I have attached the full menu including wine on the tables below as well as a small resume of the Guest Speaker/Comedian Alfie Moore.

Click here for Alfie Moore's Speaker Bio

Alfie's website has some video clips of some of his recent performances:

The price is £55 per person and you can secure your place by getting in touch with the office and booking either individually or booking as a group. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

I hope to see you there for a fun evening.
